Biography
Federica Fazio is a PhD Candidate in the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University. She holds an MSc in Politics and Government in the European Union from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) and a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Naples Federico II.
In 2024, Federica was awarded the Paddy Moriarty Memorial Scholarship for the School of Law and Government. Until 2023, she was a Visiting Fellow at the University of South Wales’ International Centre for Policing and Security. Previously, she worked in Brussels, first with the European Parliament’s Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union (DG EXPO), and then the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) Brussels Liaison Office.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of international law and international relations, with a substantive focus on transatlantic security and defense and EU-NATO relations.
