Biography
Pedro Sanz Díaz is a PhD candidate at the School of Law and Government of Dublin City University. He holds a LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from Lund University and a Double Degree in Law and Political Sciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Pedro is a registered lawyer in the Madrid Bar Association. In this capacity, he has worked for several years providing legal advice and assistance to refugees, stateless people, and ‘economic migrants’ in both law firms and NGOs in Spain and undertaking strategic legal action at the international level seeking to expand the enjoyment of human rights by people on the move.
His main research interests include international and European migration law, with a specific focus on undocumented migrants’ access to human rights, and anti-discrimination law.
