The DCU Brexit Institute and its Director, Prof. Federico Fabbrini, express deep sorrow for the sudden death of David Maria Sassoli, President of the European Parliament. David was a friend of the Brexit Institute, and he had authored the Foreword to “The Law & Politics of Brexit. Volume III. The Framework of New EU-UK Relations”, published by Oxford University Press in October 2021 — just four months ago. We express our most sincere condolences for the loss of a great European.
