On 3 June 2021, the Department of Finance of Ireland / Presidency of the Eurogroup published an independent academic report prepared by Federico Fabbrini, Professor of European Law at the School of Law & Government of Dublin City University (DCU) and Founding Director of the DCU Brexit Institute. The report, entitled “Europe’s Economic & Monetary Union Beyond Covid-19”, analyzes the measures adopted by the European Union (EU) to address the devastating economic effects of Covid-19, assessing their implications for Europe’s Economic & Monetary Union (EMU).
