Brexit Institute Wins EU Funding as Key Partner in RELAY Project

The Brexit Institute has received funding from the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union as a partner in the Jean Monnet project RELAY.

RELAY is a project that aims at discussing the new strategic policy priorities of the European Commission with a wide and diverse array of stakeholders. The RELAY project is led and coordinated by Maastricht University Campus Brussels, and features a number of partners besides the Brexit Institute, including the Centre for European Research in Maastricht (CERIM), the Brightland Institute for Smart Society (BISS), Studio Europa Maastricht and the Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI). Several private and public stakeholders are also involved, notably the prestigious Charlemagne Prize Academy and the Young European Federalists.

The Brexit Institute, as a key partner of RELAY, will contribute to the project by providing research expertise on a more inclusive concept of economic governance in Europe and organising a workshop in the spring of 2021 on the post-pandemic EMU constitutional architecture and the Recovery Fund.
