On December the 13th, the DCU Brexit Institute will host an event on ‘Brexit, the Backstop and the Island of Ireland’.
The event will feature an opening keynote from John Bruton (Former Taoiseach of Ireland).
This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Sorcha Eastwood (Alliance Party), Bobby McDonagh (DFA) Chloe Papazian (DCU) and Owen Reidy (ICTU). The panel will be chaired by Fintan O’Toole (The Irish Times).
The closing plenary will be provided by Giuliano Amato (Former Prime Minister of Italy; former Vice President of European Convention; Justice of the Italian Constitutional Court).
The event will be held in the Helix on the afternoon of Thursday, the 13th of December.
